Term and conditions


1. Quotations

1.1All quotations are based on the information provided by the Client at the time of enquiry.
1.2 Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
1.3 Any changes to access, volume, distance, dates, or additional services may result in a revised quotation.
1.4 Quotations exclude parking fees, congestion charges, tolls, permits, fines, or waiting time caused by circumstances outside our control unless specifically stated.

2. Deposit and Payment Terms

2.1 A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking date.
2.2 The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than the day of the move, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3 We reserve the right to withhold services until payment is received.
2.4 Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, cash, or any other method agreed by the Company.
2.5 Late payments may incur additional charges.

3. Cancellations and Postponements

3.1 If the Client cancels the booking, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.
3.2 Cancellations made within 48 hours of the agreed move date may be charged up to 100% of the quoted price.
3.3 Postponements are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

4. Client Responsibilities

4.1 The Client must ensure that all items to be moved are correctly listed and disclosed prior to the move.
4.2 The Client is responsible for ensuring safe and legal access to the property, including parking arrangements and permits.
4.3 All fragile, high-value, or sentimental items must be clearly declared in advance.
4.4 The Client is responsible for disconnecting and reconnecting appliances unless otherwise agreed.

5. Items We Do Not Move

5.1 We do not transport hazardous, illegal, perishable, or explosive items, including but not limited to: gas cylinders, flammable liquids, firearms, ammunition, and chemicals.
5.2 We reserve the right to refuse any item deemed unsafe or unsuitable for transport.

6. Packing and Unpacking

6.1 If packing services are provided, reasonable care will be taken; however, we are not liable for damage to items that were packed by the Client.
6.2 Items packed by the Client are transported at the Client’s own risk unless otherwise agreed.

7. Damage and Liability

7.1 We will take reasonable care of your belongings; however, our liability is limited to loss or damage caused by our proven negligence.
7.2 We are not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing faults, poor packing by the Client, or items not suitable for transport.
7.3 Claims for loss or damage must be reported within 48 hours of completion of the move, supported by evidence where possible.
7.4 Liability is limited to repair or replacement at our discretion and shall not exceed the value of the item.

8. Delays and Force Majeure

8.1 We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including traffic, weather conditions, breakdowns, or access issues.
8.2 In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to complete the service as soon as possible.

9. Storage

9.1 Where storage is arranged, items are stored at the Client’s risk unless insurance is agreed in writing.
9.2 Storage fees must be paid in advance and are non-refundable.

10. Insurance

10.1 Basic cover may be included; however, additional insurance is recommended for high-value items.
10.2 It is the Client’s responsibility to arrange suitable insurance if required.
11. Subcontracting
11.1 We reserve the right to subcontract part or all of the services where necessary.
